Born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, June 1961, moved to Sacramento CA in September 1961.  Cut my teeth as a young buck with mini-bikes, then motocross, finally street bikes throughout my life; all on somebody else’s equipment.  My first motorcycle was a 1978 Suzuki 400; I used it for commuting, got my street training on it; and rode it until the engine gave out.  The next was a 76 Kawi Z1 900 “The Widow-Maker”, it almost got me too.  I had to get rid of it to ensure I’d be around for the family; you see, I have/”had” the need for speed, I could not pass up a race.  Fast forward to 2004. . ., while on a lunch time walk to Mom’s house; I spotted another KZ, this time a 1000 LTD with café tabs, brakes and shifter, with kerker headers, and racing grips.  I inquired, and was told to take it “FREE”, it was abandoned; he told me to take the stuff in the garage too, so I did, and $250 later I was riding again.  I met up with the Soldiers through my brother in law; he invited me in and the rest is history; NO! Legendary!!  I jumped in with two feet; the camaraderie among brothers and sisters was just what I needed at that time in my life.  I couldn’t ride with that café bike so I went and got a 2004 Road Star 1700 Silverado and proceeded to prospect with the BSMC Sacramento.  I saw the world from a totally different perspective but as I was riding and learning the culture we began to yearn for more, so the wife said. . .  I sure would like to have some music while we ride; the next day I was calling her from the Harley shop when I bought my first Harley, a 2006 Road Glide; put 38,000 on it in three years; “you saw me” in Kansas, and all over the western hemisphere.  By that time I became the Club Secretary, and began witnessing to others about the Buffalo Soldiers; I think I brought in 9 prospects, over 5 years.  Back to the bikes!  The Road Glide just wasn’t enough for her; she said, “we need a trunk” to carry more “stuff” in, so here comes the 2009 Ultra Classic.  Put another 35+ thousand on it in three years and finally got back to a road glide, this time a 2012 Road Glide Ultra, and that’s it for now.  Prospecting, becoming a Soldier is a highlight in my life. . . I am honored to have the opportunity to commemorate the Buffalo Soldiers’ existence, and thoroughly enjoy my Troopers all over the world.  If you see me on the street, holler at me, if I come to your town, I’ll look you up, you do the same.
In the immortal words of the Honorable Bob Marley “One Love”
